Subject: LOW TEMP WARNING error screen seen on Anprolene Sterilizers equipped with operating versions AICUL320 and AICUL321.

Affected Equipment:

AN74i 115V model 74.64 Lot/Serial # from 261181 to 261577.

AN74j 115V model 74.74 Lot/Serial # from 261215 to 261637.

AN74ix 115V model 74.84 Lot/Serial # from 261192 to 261435.

AN74ix 230V model 74.85 Lot/Serial # from 261377 to 261932.

For the above equipment, if a LOW TEMPERATURE condition is experienced during a sterilization cycle, after removing the sterilized items, if the sterilizer door is left OPEN when the exit button is pressed, the following error display will be seen:

VENT PUMP FAILURE
LOW TEMP WARNING
SECTION OF MANUAL

To remove this message, move the power switch to the off position, then press and hold both function keys while returning the power switch to the on position. Continue to hold both function keys until the display reappears, then release the function keys. The start-up screen should now be seen.

This message will appear ONLY under the above conditions and will not appear if the sterilizer door is CLOSED before the exit button is pressed.

Please review the LOW TEMPERATURE section in the owner’s manual for information relating to sterilization cycles that have experienced a low temperature condition.
